We are fully approved riding School with qualified instructors at all levels.
The riding school presently has a selection of nineteen horses, and ponies. Our well-schooled horses allow our customers to enjoy hacking, or riding out. We have a variety of rides to cater for all standards.
So whatever your experience you are always welcome. The minimum age is 4 years old, and there is no upper limit. We do have a weight limit of 15 stones.
Outdoor Arena
We are very proud of our two arenas which are all weather surfaced with rubber floors. Our Equestrian centre here at Balcurvie Riding School is first class. Our arenas allow us to give private or group lessons all year round.
Countryside Hacking
We have almost 5 miles of bridleways for the purpose of hacking. These bridleways are through part of Fife’s natural landscape, which offers our customers great views of the wonderful scenery.
We offer hacking for ages from 4 upwards so if you want to arrange for yourself, small or large groups please get in touch and we can help.
Classroom
Our classroom facility overlooks our enclosed arena, which is a great observation point for onlookers. We also cater for Birthday parties or other special events within our classroom. We have toilet facilities available.
Own Pony Day
Come spend the day with your favourite pony! The day includes grooming, tacking up, riding, learning about feeding, tack cleaning, mucking out and much more.
Bring your packed lunch, waterproofs and all your horsey clobber if you have it (do not worry we have riding hats). Own Pony Days are only available during the school holidays. Call us for more information!
